After the very strange events of March 2020, our carefully laid Animation Exchange 2020 plans were scattered to the winds. Our organizers slumped away defeated, retreating to fight another year.
Well, now that time has come. We’ve regrouped and we are looking to the future, equipped with newly made plans for a fully online Animation Exchange in March 2021! What’s more, we want you to be a part of it!
Previous Animation Exchanges have been limited to panelists that can travel to San Francisco for GDC but NO LONGER! We defiantly throw off those restrictions in 2021! One of the things we’re always trying to do at AnimState is grow our community and we’re constantly on the look out for new faces to be a part of AnimX to share their experiences and tasty animation knowledge.
We’re opening up submissions for talks and panels about all different aspects of the animation experience in the games industry. We love hearing what people are passionate about so if you have an idea for a talk, we would love to hear from you! Please use our submission form to submit a talk for Animation Exchange 2021. Submissions will be open until 11:59pm PT on October 31st.
If you’re not familiar with Animation Exchange, it is a day of animation talks from developers all over the industry covering everything from the most recent tech advancements to traditional animation techniques to career path and growth. If you’re interested in looking at what we’ve covered previously, please visit our YouTube channel and check out our streams from previous years!
Also if you have an idea for a talk but don’t think you’re the person to do it, we would still love to hear about it! Head on over to our AnimState discord and post in our #animx_requests channel and maybe we can find the people to make it happen!
